normally i 3bet, but utg was tightish so i just called

i hate these spots, because if i feel like if i bet the flop everyone is going to fold. utg waited a sec before checking or something so i thought he might of hit the flop, but i checked behind anyway i dont know [censored] me

Ummm bet the flop homie. There is a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw out there. Protect yo hand suckah!

You played it in an unconventional style and might have maximized your value.
However I don't like checking this flop. You're hand is strong, but what if a J hits and you pay-off KQ, a flush card comes (and someone either makes a flush, or hits enough of the flop to justify seeing a river flush) etc... Your hand is NOT strong enough to justify a check here IMO.
I would certainly raise the turn.
Failing either of those bets, good river raise... however if the pot was bigger you have a good chance of stacking him.
There is a fine chance UTG had a hand like KK/QQ which became worried by the ace, but you made him suspicious with your play (he put you on a busted flushd draw).

End of the day, it seemed to work out, but I would make smallish bet - $10-15 on the flop (I make these bets most of the time if I'm checked to on the flop).

yeah, wtf, pretend you misclick cold called AKo pf, and you're trying to STOP villain's from calling with their FDs cause you KNOW they're going to suck out, i'm sure you'd be like, "i hate these spots because everyone CALLS"

oop i can understand checking but i really dont like it in position (on the flop). i would usually always bet like 17 here as a steal with atc.
