You played it in an unconventional style and might have maximized your value.
However I don't like checking this flop. You're hand is strong, but what if a J hits and you pay-off KQ, a flush card comes (and someone either makes a flush, or hits enough of the flop to justify seeing a river flush) etc... Your hand is NOT strong enough to justify a check here IMO. I would certainly raise the turn. Failing either of those bets, good river raise... however if the pot was bigger you have a good chance of stacking him. There is a fine chance UTG had a hand like KK/QQ which became worried by the ace, but you made him suspicious with your play (he put you on a busted flushd draw). End of the day, it seemed to work out, but I would make smallish bet - $10-15 on the flop (I make these bets most of the time if I'm checked to on the flop).
