Jaw Problem, Help PLZ

So this is a simple doctor question would appreciate help. My jaw on the bottom right has hurt for a week or so now. Just a little pain, worse in morning when I wake up. Not sure if it's the teeth or jaw. When I touch the area that hurts it doesn't even hurt, when I open mouth wide, yawn, sneeze then the bottom right jaw hurts.

Also if I put my fingernail inbetween teeth on the bottom left of my jaw, pushing the teeth on the right further to the right, it hurts. However if I put my fingernail inbetween teeth on the right side of jaw, doesn't even hurt.

I thought it might be because I got punched in the face a few times, but the pain didn't exactly coincide with the punches and the pain hasn't really gone away (though it's not even close to severe pain, and not even a constant dull pain). I got xrayed for wisdom teeth before and I'm pretty sure I just have 1 on the bottom left of my mouth. I wear my retainer sporadically so maybe that is messing with my teeth moving around but I have worn it sporadically for a few years now and no problems. Thoughts?

I only read it quickly but could be fractured mandible (prob not), wisdom tooth impaction, dental infection(re: pulpal or periapical inflammation) or you could just be bruxing (grinding) at night.

Probably the third molar or when you got punched the trauma caused one of the teeth to die and become what we call necrotic leading to inflammation around the bottom of the root of the tooth.

I dont really know as I dont have a visual, xrays etc.

Basically, GO to a dentist not OOT. For chrissakes.
