How do i add songs to ipod without syncing everything?
everytime i add a "playlist" or even just 1 song to an existing playlist in itunes, i have to re-sync my entire library of playlists onto my ipod which takes forever.
is there anyway to add just new songs and playlists without having to re-sync all my playlists? |

You just have to check 'manually manage music' in iTunes. I had the same problem recently.
I found the answer by going to the APPLE WEBSITE and reading the DOCUMENTATION AND SUPPORT THE COMPANY PROVIDED FOR THEIR PRODUCT. How novel! |

Syncing blows except when you first get the iPod. Change to manualy manage in preferences/options/something like that.

Re: How do i add songs to ipod without syncing everything?
I've got rhapsody, and I've changed away from syncing to manual, but it's still a long affair to have rhapsody check every damn file on both my player and my USB pen every time I fire it up. The USB pen isn't even authorized for transfers anyway, and I still have to chug through 1500 files on it. Bah.
