Default ($16) Flop top pair vs donk limper

This guy limped once I think at 25/50 early. Probably doesn't have a monster, but I've come to the conclusion that pushing pf here with A9o is -EV because AT+ and any pair is instacalling. How do you play the flop/turn?

I'd probably check-raise all-in.

push this, they'll late down more than you'd expect.

if he limped AT+, good for him

I'm not saying you should shove here. But, you are forgetting a critical factor to determining if a shove is +EV when calling with that range. That factor is his limping range.

Here he needs to be limping like 45% or wider (44+,A2s+,A2o+,K2s+,K6o+,Q4s+,Q8o+,J6s+,J8o+,T6s+, T8o+,96s+,98o,86s+,76s) so it'd wouldn't be a good push.

But, I think u get my point?

Anyway, I think it's unlikley he has a strong A here, so I think I like a c/shove. But, you really should have had a plan when you checked the flop in the first place.
