Default Beat: I can\'t throw a curveball

Beat: I'm 32 and I've been trying to throw a curve since I was 13. I'll never be happy until I can do this one little thing. The bitch is that my fast ball cuts late about 4 inches.

Variance: I play no organized ball so no hitters will ever hit my hanging curve or swing and miss at my cutter.

It's not hard. Grip ball across single seam, supinate wrist, pull straight down, finish forward. Curveball.

Orel Hershiser put out a pitching video a few years back. I used to pitch and I found his discussion/demonstrations to be very helpful. The curveball is about 4:30 into this clip. Good luck, hope this helps!

I used to not be able to throw ANYTHING but now I can throw a curveball, knuckleball, and knuckle curve. Not sure how any of this helps you but there you have it. Seriously though, if one method isn't working, try another, it's not that bad once you get the hang of it.

Make sure your thumb is directly underneath the ball.

Bend your wrist in towards your head like the 2nd picture.

Come over the top, and try to aim for the batter's head.
