I think it is where you can be from 1 to 3 bucks.

Spread limit hold'em 1/3 game @ the Excalibur, if i remember correctly:

SB posts $1
BB posts $2
UTG can call $2 or raise to $3, $4, or $5
after a raise of $2, subsequent raises must be $2 or $3 on that street
after a raise of $3, all bets are in $3 increments on that street

i need to brush up on it, as $1-$5 spread limit games are about to become the standard in Florida, i think.

In this state (WA), the Indian casinos host a SL that's, for the most part, a NL game, but the maximum bet is set at $500. The max buyins are set at 60xBB or 50xBB, it's not as good a game as the Vegas or LA games, but they're still pretty good

This thread will give you a better idea.

A 1/2 spread game may indicate that the blinds are $1/$2, but the actual spread could be different, such as $2-$40 or $2-$50 or $2-$100.

The spread limits that were at Excalibur were a single blind game only. The 1/3 I've heard is dead over there. The 1-3 was a $1 blind and the 2-6 as a $2 blind. You can't raise a blind from $2 to $3 if the blinds are 1/2. It'd have to go to 4.

I really hope they abandon this idea or at least offer it in addition to the other ideas because these idiots can't even figure out the betting in 1-2 limit. We'll get like 10 hands an hour with a spread limit.
