Default Detailed S-corp vs LLC question

This is a pretty personal matter so if you have any detailed knowledge on C-corps please let me know privately. I have a meeting with lawyers for next Monday and a conference call tomorrow. I know what a C-corp is obviously (we own businesses that are C-corps) and most of the information about them so if you just have general knowledge please dont waste your time, this is more of a share holders abilities and limitations question.

Basically someone is switching it from I believe an LLC to a s-corp (or solidifying it as a s-corp). Basically I want to know if and how this affects control by the shareholders, noone that has ownership has questioned this but me (mainly because they just believe whatever they are told), but for some reason I am very concerned and hope it is for no reason.

If you can answer this without more info, doing so here is fine, if you need more information please ask here and I will answer you privately or just contact me in PM.

Thanks so much!! [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
