Default NL10 Hit my set, did I bet too much?

Should I have played this slower?

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $7.49
UTG+1: $9.51
MP1: $6.40
Hero: $11.73
MP3: $9.85
CO: $9.75
Button: $9.27
SB: $9.50
BB: $8.10

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP2 with T T
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 raises to $0.3, Hero calls, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: 3 5 T ($1.05, 3 players)
UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets $0.6, Hero raises to $2.8, 2 folds.

if this is a rainbow flop, only calling is correct.
on a 2-3 suited board, i would raise to $2.4
