dunno if i like this...you're probably only getting called by better hands, and sets. in either case, when you get called, you're probably behind. it's nice you have the redraw, but those same outs are going to fill up a set, and against a better straight you're just gambling anyways...

you can probably play this a lot slower, esp w/ the redraw. bring along more money, you're probably going to lose the same against the nuts anyways.

I think I would raise to $10 or so on the Flop and get it all-in on Turn unless a scared card comes.

But since there are so many scared cards for the Turn, ie. 5, 6, T, J, a heart, paired board, I think getting your money in on the Flop is not bad. At least it's the much easier way to play.

Not sure what you mean? Any heart gives me flush, 9H gives me straight flush.
But you're right overall. Button called and showed T6o for the higher str8, and turn and river were bricks.

I ran PokerStove, and I had 40% to his 60% equity.

Darnit. I'm going back to Scrabble...

Hmm, well I don't think all-in is terrible, but I kinda like the idea of raising a smaller amount, perhaps $10 like the previous poster said.

This would be enough to make the ace-high FD wrong to call or a higher straight draw wrong to call, but perhaps not too much to have sets fold (though being the 2nd raise it would be scary for a set).

A made higher straight will probably push and then you should probably call because you have enought outs (I didn't actually do the calcs. but there is some chance that an ace-high FD would push too so I think you can call even if you aren't getting exactly the right odds against a straight.

I don't think you can ever fold this hand, so try to get the most money in so the times you do win you win more money.
