Default 50NL: lol Laydownaments

Villain 19/10/4, 150 hands.

Hero has been playing standard (nitty) TAG. Been 3b'ing a bit - even light once or twice - but not so much that villains would think I was really out of line. Although, you never know.

First the hand, then the Stove...

I sure love quoting the guy who is totally right. Crazy on this forum how readily people are laying down big overpairs on boards like this. You have to call in many of these cases, and with KK it is as good a time as any to sniff out an inferior PP or flush draw in this case.

Tough spot.

If I could learn how to play these correctly I'd be a very rich man.

As played, given villain's AF I'm leaning towards a shove.

I may be narrowing down too much, but with PFR of 4, you are looking at TT+ pretty much. I wrote a program just yesterday experimenting with hand ranges to determine exactly that question... I don't have the program handy, but I'm pretty sure TT+ accounts for 4%. In this case, there is only one hand that beats you in this range.

Here, I'd probably call and shove turn. You could also shove the flop, but he might laydown JJ and QQ. He might bet once more on the turn, and obviously if he has AA, nh, and move on.

Folding here is so exploitable. I go broke every time.

Wow...because of the "kickers", right? Making this a call. Nice.

I really thought this closer than you are all saying. Dammit. Been stacked like this so often recently I must be letting that make me play a bit scared.

Thanks.
