Bet around pot and call a shove. There's a bunch Ax two pair combos that do this and if he back-doored you there's really nothing you can do.

What about shoving the turn to stop any potential drawers? thoughts?

Nope. This is completely backwards. You will make way more money over time keeping people in and charging them. This is because a.) they will usually miss and will fold the river and you will keep the money they called on the turn, b.) you won't have to lose much when they hit in this situation, since their outs are glaringly obvious, c.) by not overbetting you will sometimes keep in inferior hands that will still pay you off on a blank river, but would have folded to your turn shove and d.) when board-pairing club hits you will stack people drawing to high flushes

*edit* or board-pairing spade, obv.

Raise pre-flop
Flop is fine
Turn is fine
River, I think I would have checked and let him bluff his missed draw. If he hits a back door flush draw calling the flop and turn, I am gonna pay him off with a set.

Vern

Edit: As played, I call the river raise.
