Default All in on a PS milestone hand?

I was recently dealt into a million milestone hand on a No Limit Pokerstars table. I looked at my exceptionally crappy cards: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. The observers were all chanting, 'all in... all in!'

Assume the following: You are on a $5/$10 6-person No Limit Table. All players have approx. $1,000 stacks. No one else folds. Suppose you are on the button and the other players in front of you have moved all in. You are a platinum level VIP.

Stacks matter too, and if anyone else has folded behind you. Also your VIP status is very important. Also:

Edit- Poletardish, I was harsh, and stacks were inlcuded.

Depends on what the payout is. If you triple up despite losing the hand, do it.

Stacks were included in the question, and I thought I had the other stuff too. Anyhow, it has been added and the additional information is now there.

How are you going to triple up if you lose the hand? The payout to the losers is $800. You also get the following bonus:

SilverStar 15% Bonus
GoldStar 30% Bonus
PlatinumStar 60% Bonus
Supernova 120% Bonus
Supernova Elite 200% bonus

So, even if you are a Supernova Elite (I think only one person is), you will get only $2,400. That's a little more than doubling up, but I do not think you can ever triple up by going all in and losing the hand.

Anyhow, for this question, assume you are a Platinum Star VIP. Then what? How does it change if you're SuperNova?

if you fold you get $1280 with your vip level since you just have to be delt in the hand
Starting with hand 9,900,000,000, we will award cash prizes for every millionth hand dealt - leading up to the first EVER 10 Billionth Hand online! If you are dealt into one of the 100 milestone hands* in a cash ring game, you'll walk away with a cash prize between $100 and $2000.

The winner gets an additional 1920 for winning the hand. 62o has about 9.15% equity against 5 random hands and will tie at least 1 player 1% of the time. So with just that , you're getting rougly $650-700 back for your 1000, so not worth it.

I did fold in the hand, but was berated for doing so. It's surprising how many people think you should move all in no matter. As you say: your cards, your VIP status, stack sizes, and other player's actions do make a difference. And, sometimes it is correct to fold.

Haha exactly, I have gone to a few of the milestone hands and those people are purely 100% retarded. They're constantly going "OMG YOU FOLDED WHAT A LOSER", etc. to people who are sitting at the table but weren't dealt into the hand cause they were waiting for the blinds to hit before posting, etc.

This is definitely a pure math question and that guy who posted the math is right, it's a gold. You wouldn't have won the hand would you? I'm results-oriented!
