are you supposed to eat canned sardines whole?

Just wondering if I should remove the bones or anything. I'm trying sandwich below:

Rye bread, mayo, sardines, sliced hardcooked eggs, thinly sliced onion, thin slices of tomato, salt and pepper.

The bigger spinal pieces can be removed fairly easy the rest I just eat. Eating those bones wont hurt ya though. They pretty much crumble up.

PS: Don't plan on kissing anyone for at least 6-8 hours and they stink up the entire area.

That´s bad advice. Just eat them with the spine, skin, and tails (if there are any), and I strongly recommend some mayo.
