Default very thin value bet

I'm still trying to figure out how how this is a wise value bet by luclongley. I know these nosebleed stakes are way out of my league, but this bet at the end seems way too thin. Anyone have any ideas on his thinking process here?

DB never checks a straight on the river and LL can rep missed clubs. Also DB is not very good (for these stakes) and is a severe calling station.

I was thinking more along the line of DB having a set. Wouldn't it be highly possible that DB would just let LL bet into him and then just call with a set on that board?

Possible. But there are more two pair combos than set combos. And he'd be more likely to vb a set on the river than to c/c. Of course this is all speculation... doesn't seem like such a crazy hand, though.

my bad, I just thought that 7 was a really bad card for LL. I don't really watch db play, I just happened to open up that table the hand before and watched this hand take place and was like "seriously?!?"

So I'll ask another question, is a call with AQ on that river a profitable one in the long run? this is if you include it being HU playing LL with these deep stacks.

why is that a ban? I'm trying to understand nosebleed stakes table dynamics cuz it is completely different from 5/10.
