putting denoms on blank chips?
i have a ton of cheap tournament chips and id like to put denoms on them. does anyone know how hard it is to put little foil numbers on them? or maybe stickers of some sort? or should i just get a new set...
even if theres a good method of doing this, is it too much hassle to put it on about 1500 chips? does anyone have experience with this? |

cheapest way I've seen for cheap chips in cheap tournaments: Sharpie.

You can get labels that stick on. Get some samples first to see how they work.

Re: putting denoms on blank chips?
I helped a friend put stickers on about 10k chips, it really wasn't that bad, just get three or so friends together for an afternoon, and buy the beer, but I figure you don't need that many chips. either way, the quality of sticker placement will get progressively worse after the 2nd hour or so of non-stop stickering.

Re: putting denoms on blank chips?
Might as well just have everyone learn the denoms by color. Sharpie is also a good cheap/fast option.

Re: putting denoms on blank chips?
A friend of mine bought some Avery paper and waterproof inkjet ink and printed out his own.
Here is an example of the paper: http://www.meritline.com/167circlelabel.html and: http://www.onlinelabels.com/ol1025.htm I'm sure if that's the right size but Avery does have the compatible size for the cirular indent in the chips (his are Nexgen). Another option is to order labels from a chip company and put them on yourself. Printing is probably cheaper but this is probably easier. And you might want to visit here: http://www.homepokertourney.com/chips-labels.htm |
