Root and Raymer - A Political Couple?

CP is reporting that Greg Raymer is considering teaming up with Wayne Allyn Root for a run at the U.S. presidency on the Libertarian ticket.

Now I know we have covered Raymer's consideration of an entry into national politics before but what is the concensus on Root? I think he is another blowhard self promoting d-bag and hate the idea that Greg would even consider running with him. If Raymer really wants to be taken seriously as an agent of political change and promote poker as a game of skill that should be legalized, the last thing he should do is be on a ticket with a sports handicapper -- especially this idiot.
