$50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
villan is your standard TAG. I'm pretty sure he has an A here. what's my line on the river? I think I played the other streets fine, please comment if you disagree:

Re: $50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
You need to get more money in on the turn, if you know he's an aggressive TAG, you should c/r here, to like 21 and then shove the river. Checking and calling are NOT ways to extract money.

Re: $50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
I agree with thac.
As played, push river. Pot is 24, OP only has 25, villian will probably call with any ace getting 2-1. |

Re: $50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
I like the check on the turn looking as if you are afraid if he does indeed have an ace. I think if you do push on the river he is going to call you so thats what id do.

Re: $50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
The hero started the hand with only about $50, so effective stacks are 50 right?
I'm pretty tired though so I could be reading it wrong since today was the 1st day I got up at 5am to work out in like 6 months. |

Re: $50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
Right, but 8 + 2 + 2 is still only 14.. 50-14 = 36

Re: $50NL blind battle: extracting maximum value w/ QQQ
If you are pretty sure he has an Ace, bet every street & pray he raises. Sometimes I even open-push the turn if the opponent is cynical or I've been being very aggro. He could put you on a bluff and make a heroic call.

Doh. Time to get some coffee. Was looking at the Pot on river vs. starting stacks. At least my post count is steadily increasing though.
