Limp more against extremely weak calling stations?
I know the widely agreed 6max concept is 'if first to enter the pot, always come in for a raise'. And yes obviously this has many advantageous-(spell check??) which I am aware of.
However at a table of complete fish who will call from the blinds with almost ATC and very wide from mid/late pos, and then never fold to a c-bet, and finally when you shut down on the turn, bluff you off the pot, is it a more acceptable strategy to open limp with hands like J10 otb or 89s from c/o or maybe a small/mid pair from any pos? I guess my general question is- when c-bets wont take down pots on missed flops, is open limping with hands that need help on the flop to become strong (with the exception of maybe AK/AQ/AJ) a better strategy? Stars and Full Tilt regs wont know the type of game im talking about! |

Re: Limp more against extremely weak calling stations?
Thats a good point, its obviously important to not play a huge pot with just Top pair in a multi-way pot. I feel I have enough experience to handle the marginal situations reasonably well tho.
Certainly one downside of limping I guess is, your equity % in the pot goes down the more people are in it. But if noone folds to a raise anyway then.............. |

How is that a weak calling station if he calls a raise preflop, flop, and then raises himself on the turn?? Either he outplays you or he has something
