Default NL200: KK 3bet pot QQxx board

My big 3bet was a mistype; I didn't notice he opened $6 and not $8.

Villain is 21/3.6/1.0 over 1.8k hands. Betting flop seems spewy. Folding turn seems superweak given I checked flop behind.

What do you think of the river?

SB: $80.95
BB: $94.15
UTG: $200.00
UTG+1: $279.62
MP1: $183.00
Hero (MP2): $202.60
CO: $146.20
BTN: $142.03

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K (8 Players)
UTG raises to $6.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $24.00, 4 folds, UTG calls $18.00

Flop: ($51) 7 Q Q (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($51) 3 (2 Players)
UTG bets $20.00, Hero calls $20.00

River: ($91) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG bets $42.00, Hero...?

I think your good...hes prob not calling your 3 bet with AQ and your only really worried about Aces which is possible but you cant play scared, since you both checked flop pot is going to be smaller and more manageable...im calling here and expecting to see TT or JJ here more than AA or AQ or 77

edit: or QQ =)

The reason you checked the flop was to signal AK or otherwise induce him to represent a queen, right?

You have to call getting over 3:1. YOu are only losing to AA, 77, 33, 55 and Qx. You are ahead well over 24% of the time, which would be breakeven (42/175).

I checked the flop because I didn't believe this guy would call me with worse except for exactly A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and even that may bluff checkraise me and I didn't want to felt against this villain on this flop.

He has 77/33/55 here next to never.

I understand not much from his range beats us (AA/QQ/AQ(?)). KK splits. But tell me what do I beat from his range that plays like that that I beat?

Maybe JJ that tried to charge AK on the turn and is blocking river. Goofy bluff with AK?

You've shown weakness all post flop. You'll see 99,TT,JJ here quite a bit I think. I like the way you played flop and turn. Check on flop is good for reasons you said - now you have to realize that that action will induce bets from hands that you beat. Call the river.

As a side note - this isn't really a goofy bluff (if it is in fact a bluff). Like I said you have shown weakness which villain may see as fear of the Q. His stats (AGR of 1) do make me think he has some PP though much more often than air though.

1.8K hands so the stats are pretty genuine. The funky part is his UTG $6 raise???? Then call???? WTF?????

To be honest, I'm REALLY packin' this down to AA or KK. I just don't see stats like this having AQ, or any Q for that matter except QQ.

That being said, I'd call river to find out what was up PF.... could (make you) / (save you) a bunch in the future.

[edit begins] OK, second thots.... what's yer image? Makes a BIG difference what villain calls PF.

Huh?!?! Yeah his PFR is low but you are basically saying that we can put him on AA here since we have KK. I don't think so. JJ,TT,99 are all in his range here IMO.

My image is standard regular 14.5/10 TAG; not sure about what it was last orbits at that table.

I doubt he raises 77- UTG; I really don't think he does. Whether he'd call a 3bet with TT/JJ/AQ I dunno.
