Default Rate this slowplay

SB is 30/20 and UTG is 50/30. OK?

I think you're missing value by not raising the flop here especially when UTG peels the flop and folds the turn when he misses.

Why not just raise the flop and hope you and SB can whipsaw UTG?

raising flop gives SB a chance to put in lots of bets drawing thin. if u raise turn he's not gonna 3bet a worse hand too often (altho the J is a great card for u)

Yeah, I don't know why this seemed like a good idea at the time. I think, that I wanted to keep UTG in, and thought he would peel the turn with lots of weak hands, too. But I get those bets from SB easily when he goes bonkers with KK, QQ and worse.

Anyway, it actually worked out pretty well, since SB 3-bet the turn with QQ, and I called him down.

this is dumb.
WHat happens on the turn when the board pairs, or an 8,7 hits. Just raise the flop.

edit i missed preflop. You still should just raise the flop but i guess the board pairing doesn't matter.
