Backpack + LV casino = ?

Hello, I'll be visiting the strip for a weekend... and am planning on travelling light... likely just a backpack. I'll be touching down several hours before check-in time (Planet Hollywood). Will I get tackled if I walk into a poker room with a backpack?

I've only been to LV once, and last time I don't recall too many backpackers in the casinos... so unsure of the policy, especially in light of the Luxor recent events.

If you don't want to lug it around/worry about it you can check it at the front desk of pretty much any hotel on the strip and come back and pick it up at the end of the day.

You shouldn't have a problem with a backpack in any Vegas Casino, I was in Vegas for a weekend a few months back and carried around a backpack the 1st day I was there as I couldn't check in as well and I had no problems at the Bellagio, MGM Grand or Luxor while I was playing.
