Another flop situation
The preflop raise was an isolation raise against a new player who seemed to be loose-passive. Unfortunately, it failed and I got 3-bet. On the other hand, I've flopped 2PTK and the nut backdoor flush draw and it's checked to me. SB is noted as a multitabler with good preflop stats over about 150 hands (26/17), but his postflop play looks a little on the loose-passive side (1.2 AF). Is this a value bet, or should I take the free card?

Re: Another flop situation
The check by SB looks a bit fishy. I would expect him to bet here regardless of whether he hit the flop, so he could be slow playing something like KK or 99. On the other hand, if he isn't making a fancy slow play, the pot is a fair size and betting out now might fold out hands that could beat you if they are given a free ride on the turn. I would bet but I'm probably folding on the turn if there is a flop check raise and my hand doesn't improve.

Re: Another flop situation
This looks like a decent spot for a check-reevaluate. SB wanting to C/R is not out of the question.

Re: Another flop situation
SB's check is unusual but he could also have something like AJs/AQ or he has a medium pair which he was hoping to get HU with urself, but is now scared due to the extras in the pot. He could also be trying something tricky hoping to fold out the other two, if he's got a monster (like KK) it is a rly stupid spot to go for a c/r, therefore I don't think thats the case.
I'm pretty confident you are in reasonable shape, I'd bet & see what the other two do in the hand. I'd be wary of them drawing as well as having a K. |

Re: Another flop situation
I don't know why this would qualify as a "suspicious check". You guys always C-bet into 3 players in the worst position?

Re: Another flop situation
Not me, but many do. HU, I check this, but since there are four players, I bet. Against SB, his range very likely has either 3 outs against us, or we have 2 or fewer outs ourselves. I guess sometimes this is TT, but not often. This is virtually never QJ from SB, so he seldom has 6 outs to beat us. However, the other guys will have 6 or more outs to beat us between the two of them quite often. We discount K's somewhat based on their checks (until they tell us otherwise), and that's great for us.
