Default Renting a House with Room Mates

What is the standard price difference for the room mate who gets the master bedroom if there are 4 people moving into a single family home?

What info? We haven't found the house we're renting yet so we don't know the master bedroom size.

then why ask the question now? But all things being equal I think 10% is about right, but if not than they should get the worst of something else whether it be parking, closet space, bathroom.

Bid for it, and whoever bids highest gets it. Split the remaining rent amongst the rest of you.

I honestly think bidding for it will lead to problems, in teh heat of the moment someone might get carried away, and bid a [censored] up amount and resent the split, even though its their fault, its a [censored] way to start a year in house together. I think you guys should just decided on a percentage right now, 10 or 15 depending on the size discrepency, and then when the time comes, anyone who wants to pay more for the big room draws straws.

well then you don't know things like how much bigger it is. or whether there even is one. i lived in a house without a master bedroom for years, it had two that were the exact same size.

it depends on who you live with, who has money, who doesn't, how close you are, etc. there are a ton of factors in this, impossible to give a good answer since you put zero [censored] effort into your OP
