Default How many people are like me when it comes to watching baseball?

My friends often make fun of me for this: I never miss a Yankee game. Now, that doesn't mean I put everything off in my life between 7:05-10:30 PM every night (although minor stuff gets pushed aside), but I will DVR every game and watch it (and I will make EVERY attempt to NOT see or be told the score before I watch it).

I estimate last year that I missed watching maybe 10 full games and a lot of them were at the very end of the season when the Yanks already had the AL East secure.

Am I crazy? Am I the only one around here that does this?

This is just my way of "de-stressing" every day. Often if I have schoolwork to do, I will do it during the game.

Every day I have 3 hours of Yanks to look forward to when I get home.

Nothing to make fun of here. Although I find it incredibly difficult not to look at the box score when I know the game is already over.

I have never watched a sporting event after it happened live.

So, no.

(I tried once though. I think it was a Knicks playoff game in '94. But I heard the score on the way home, so I just fast-forwarded to the important parts).

The Yankees/Red Sox are a big part of why I hate baseball now. I'm glad the Yankees are sucking this year.

So many retarded answers so far. Way to be douchebags.

I've paid attention to the Sox more this year than any other year. Maybe it's living in an apartment with my own TV. Maybe it's Dice-K mania. Even then, I watch very few full games in whole. I'll watch a couple innings, go do something, watch a couple more innings. But I have seen at least part of almost every game this year.

I do this with the Cubs, so many day games and so many idiots in my office who don't understand I don't want to know what's happening, I'll watch the entire game later.
