Re: Sopranos 4/29
i don't like the way they're wrapping up the show - gambling has never been a problem for tony before. this whole development is coming seemingly out of nowhere, unless to show that tony can never be settled - that after his coma and getting back with carmela, he needs something to tear himself down with, and that there's absolutely no one who can stop him.
but i did like the camera work and lighting a lot. |

I loved the episode. Having gambled over my head from time to time , I really felt the tension.
what does everyone think is the significance of the final scene where Tony pays Hesch off? |

what does everyone think is the significance of the final scene where Tony pays Hesch off? [/ QUOTE ] Tony is/sees himself as a man of honor. Not paying his debts, even though he could get away with goes against the way he perceives himself and he would lose face as well as a lot of respect by just bailing on his debts. I've always wished that they would've developed Hesh's character alot more. Seems there could be a bunch of interesting stuff to get into. |
