I hear about people's names getting exonerated because their names have been spelled incorrectly on the ticket.

On both of my misdemeanor tickets, my date of birth is given as 1986 instead of 1987. Does this have any effect on my status?

It depends on the area, but most likely they'll just correct the mistake. If you're that worried, pay for a lawyer.

Well...I'm sitting a table at the bar drinking pitchers with my buddies and I gotta go piss. Line is about 6 people long, so I go outside to piss behind small-town bar (not really unusual).

Officers see me "swaying" in the alley toward the back of the bar and follow me back there. They see me urinating and tell me to stop.

I turn, look at them, and start running. Eventually I figure I'm gonna get caught so I slow down and stop. One of the reserve officers tackled me to the ground.

Most of this comes from police report they gave me, I only remember running and being taken to the ground.
