Let me think about this, okay i call
UB 120 Bounty. Villain and I are considerably biggest stacks on the table. I've been very active for about 15 hands as 3 times in EP i got AQ. On the previous hand to this i raised the button, same villain called and i got an awful flop for my hand and checked back. Villain bet turn and i let it go.
My stack: 11,200 Villain: 18,000 Blinds: 100/200 Hero holds 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the CO preflop: Folds to hero, hero raises to 525, button folds, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks, hero bets 750, SB calls. Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, hero checks River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB bets 1300, hero calls. I thought about this and decided villains range was almost always A. missed FD B. missed SD C. A 7 I don't think the J changes much since i don't see him peeling the flop on QJ/KJ type hands, and the river 7 now makes him having one less likely. Could he have a 6? Yea i guess, but seems more likely he checks river. Thoughts? |

Re: Let me think about this, okay i call
You've been active and now raise again from LP. So he's calling wide, no? Previously you checked w/ air and let go. Now you come out betting which leans toward you have "something" from villain's perspective. He's calling w/ "something" and since you have decided it is a draw 2 out of 3 times, you have heap'em good odds to call the river bet.
I think he got a piece of the flop and figured you for missed overs...thin VB with a 4 or 6. |
