Re: WPT North American Poker Championship thread
I was just getting ready to say that Vince is actually sharp and funny tonight. Then he commented that Lam was trying to "extrapolate" as much money as possible from his opponent. Huh? Extract, perhaps?
Thanks, VVP. Just when I start to believe you are not a complete idiot, you snap me back into reality. Well done. |

laying down that AQ i thought it was an insta call [/ QUOTE ] My first thoughts were is it the Canuck that's always staking people and does JJ ever get staked in tourneys? Probably no on both counts but I just can't believe he didn't call that. I mean he had 1.4 mil and JJ had 400k. Obvious steal position on the short stack. |

Re: WPT North American Poker Championship thread
"Brave call," says Kanuck?
The kid just talked out his entire thought process. "The only thing you could have was 8s or 4s and if I'm going home, I'm going home." As Sexton said, it's unlikely a set would raise all in on that harmless flop. So, with top pair and top kicker as the monster chip leader, I don't really think it's a "brave" call. "Sensible" makes more sense. |

Re: WPT North American Poker Championship thread
I will never root for this guy (Kanuck) to win a tournament after just watching him muck AK four handed. Also, the way he played it earlier against AJ was weak. How the hell did he get his nickname?
