Was the shove unnecessary?? Could I have played this differently. Thoughts please

I reckon its fine but I would have raised more on the flop. Possibly re-raise him to .50-.60

I'm a newb though so wait until someone confirms/disagrees with me.

correct me if I am out of line, as this is the first time I have posted on this thread, but this is why micro stakes NL can be soooo juicy. You pushed all-in when only a better hand can call your all-in. The way I see it, you played it all wrong, letting somebody get in cheap preflop, then paying them off huge when they outflopped you. Total spew, learn from it and try to keep the pot more reasonable next time.

My money is on he flopped two pair, or he donked it with a big flush draw and got lucky on the turn. Either way, you only had a big pair, and no reason you should have had all your money in after the flop.

Edit: reading over this, you have to be happy with a call on his part if he did have a flush draw, as you had the better of it, and he lucked out. Hang around and I am sure that money will make a lap around the table, possibly back to you.
