Default Steaming video to xbox 360?

Anyone done this ? I have a bunch of movies on my laptop and would like to stream them to the 360 and am having a hard time...
I am trying using tversity media server so I dont have to convert everything before I watch it... it is supposed to do it on the fly..

I am working with this tutorial but still cant get the xbox to see the 360 server

tried it wiresless and wired on wired i could never ping the xbox?

any suggestions

when I do the test media connetion it gives me an error about pc selected failed

I used twonkyvision (it's not free but has a free 30 day trial) and it pretty much worked right out of the box with no tweaking necessary.

Yeah about 10 mintues after this post I was pissed and hooked it up to another router hard wired and rebooted with just the media server running... works fine.
boosted the frame rate looks goooood
little pain in the ass since I have to switch network cards but I can live
