Did I do anything wrong?
I am pretty new to the game and want to know if I played the hand wrong. Should I have checked on the turn and seen the last card cheaper or did I do the right thing by betting? Is this just one of those things that happens and you just have to put up with it, or can you minimise these sorts of losses?

Re: Did I do anything wrong?
Chalk this up to classic PLO variance.

Re: Did I do anything wrong?
Although, "fold pre-flop" would also be relevent. Your hand is very weak because the 2d is virtually worthless and on the rare occasion where you find yourself in a big pot with a made hand you'll rarely have a big edge (you'll almost always be vulnerable to a tonne of re-draws and/or get free-folled).
If you got a walk in the BB, then it would be just variance. |
