Default How to know if it\'s tilt or variance

Well I just had my first bad swing in 6 max. So I decided to check out how to see if it was me or variance. Go to Poker Patterns and select the premium starting hands. If you see a slump in your graph then it's variance. If it looks normal then it's tilt.

How did you decide this? Just because prems go down doesn't mean they're being played correctly but losing. I mean, if I'm missing something I sure would like to know what basis there is for thinking this. Or if you had the experience to *know* you weren't misplaying them you wouldn't need to see the graph, right?
