5/10 PF quick question.
Assume standard 5/10 stars game
decent 30/20 opens UTG (you know he plays well post-flop), you are in MP, whats the lowest pp you raise with here? (We're also assuming there's no history between the 2 of you, just a random decent TAG) for argument sake lets say there's a pretty decent chance if you raise it will be HU. What if there's a huge fish in BB & you expect him to call does that change ur decision? |

Re: 5/10 PF quick question.
77+ always and 66 depending on the rest of the table.

Re: 5/10 PF quick question.
i don't do it much, but i can't think of anything wrong with 3-balling 22 here as long as the blinds will fold often.
there isn't much difference between 22 and 77 here because most 30/20's aren't opening with low pocket pairs UTG. |

Dunno what a "big difference" is, but 3-betting 22 with 40% hot/cold eq cant be horrible if its fairly likely it gets HU. If on the other hand there is a loose BB I dont like 3-betting 22. |
