tried to see spiderman 3 midnight show tonight

and some loser called in a bomb threat and they had to clear the whole joint out. incredible.

anyone else have bomb threat disappointment stories? anything else to add/say about this?

nah not really.. showed up probably at 11:10, went right in, no line or anything. place was kinda packed and we got some seats in the 3rd row center.. imax theater. it wasn't too bad. i have been closer. after about 30 minutes of waiting they announced it.

If they had told all the people entering the theater that a bomb threat had been made and they were entering at their own risk would you have gone in daryn? I would of and I think this should be done more often. Why would anyone bomb a movie? Sounds like someone needed the day off work or something. Has a bomb threat ever been called in and then there actually was a bomb?

right, i mean... you know it's a virtual lock that it's just some [censored] calling it in to ruin everyone's time. would i have stayed hmm, good question. in this specific case, probably.

we had a bomb threat called in at our school + flyers posted saying there was gonna be a bomb.. in 4 different buildings. they really went all out. it resulted in two days off from school. that's not really a disappointment, though, i guess.
