Default 400FR, nitty fold?

400NL 9 handed.

around 20 hands into session. I've been tight, UTG hasn't been very active at all. (no PT/HUD)

I have $500. UTG covers.

UTG raises to $16. SB calls.

I call in BB with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets $28. I raise to $74. UTG raises to $198 SB folds.

I fold.

you have 10 outs for a full house and two cards to come and you can be ahead anyway with your folding here is a very mad move.

he can't be behind and have 10 outs. If he is behind he has 1 out.

Also, I don't like your flop raise.

I would also like to hear why this flop raise is bad. what is the plan if hero flat calls the flop and UTG raises?

edit: im not saying i disagree with you True, just interested to hear your thoughts on what the best line is in this spot. i never play full ring so maybe this is a call/fold to raise situation or something.

shove, call or fold.

UTG could have a hand like AK or AQ or even like AJ or KQ that we want him to call and improve with. If we raise then UTG will only put money in with a better hand.

When we raise SBs bet we are basically saying we have a monster and I think that he will act accordingly.

FR games r RELE soft, and I c AK do this a LOT. AQ is very possible. Since AK and AQ r half his range he does this with IMO, and AA and QQ is the other half, I flip a coin, but with the dead money in the pot and the money you committed, I wouldn't fold. Something like JThh is possible if the persons LAGGY, tho thats rare in FR from UTG.
