$16 Stars: AK how should I bet this?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Hero (t1460) MP1 (t1760) MP2 (t1450) CO (t1440) Button (t1640) SB (t3530) BB (t1100) UTG (t1120) Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, K. UTG calls t30, Hero raises to t120</font>, 4 folds</font>, SB calls t105, BB calls t90, UTG calls t90. Flop: (t480) A, 5, 9 (4 players)</font> SB checks, BB bets t120</font>, UTG calls t120, Hero ??? UTG is a donk and it wouldnt surprise me if hes carrying anything suited, so I put him on a flush draw. I figured to have BB beat with TPTK. So with all that said what would you all do here? I was eager to push it all in, and did, hoping to kill any flush draws, but would a raise to say 350 or so be more effective? |

$350 isn't enough. That will give anyone chasing the flush the correct odds to call, even without implied odds. Potting it pretty much pot commits you, so I'd push.

Easy shove. Too many hands we're beating especially with your read. A raise to 350 is horrible, thats not even half the pot & prices them in for draws like crazy. The pot is 720 when it gets to you.
