Re: $22 small pp play
Unless he is horrible there is no fold equity, I think I'd stop n go.

Re: $22 small pp play
With 6 big blinds, I push and pray with any pocket pair. With 6 players left, you have to get lucky once or twice at some point to make it in the money, and you're almost at a point where your steal shoves aren't credible. If you win a coin flip, you would be in good position to steal the blinds, since you'd have two perfect victims to your left.

Re: $22 small pp play
So why do you guys prefer shoving 22 with no fold equity over a stop-n-go?

The fact that his raise is big is big relative to stack sizes is the reason to stop n go. That being said, I don't know if its the correct play here, if you think you have FE over villain (a lot of times when guys are raising loose they don't want to call and show the junk they're raising with) perhaps a push is in order. |

So why do you guys prefer shoving 22 with no fold equity over a stop-n-go? [/ QUOTE ] In this spot, I would prefer to shove with 22, because I desperately need to take some risks to climb up. With a pocket pair, I'm nearly guaranteed a certain chance, and there's no telling if I'll get another chance before being blinded out. With stop-go, even if the Villain folds, I'm still not that much better off, and will have to look for another spot to take a gamble. |

Re: $22 small pp play
Wow Dima is missing the whole point of a stopngo. Also sense, when high cards flop, that is kind of the point of the stopngo. Now he may fold his 33-whatever instead of stacking you.
