kkf alternate account in OOT

is he banned or something? he just made a sort of bad bloggy post in OOT on an alternate account, which, if his regular account is banned, would usually result in extending the ban / banning the alternate, right?

i have to leave the house in a bit so if another OOT mod or whoever banned him sees this and wants to act on it feel free

I banned his account fish2plus2 for 5 days for a post in the german poker forum, however his account xxThe_Lebowskixx doesn't seem to be banned, and he used it during the last days.

He has been using it, and using it to troll like a mothaf*cker.

the Lebowski account was banned for a brief moment yesterday by Nick I believe.

Frankly- after yesterday, I don't see any compelling reasons to keep him around. He's not any better than yves and he's almost a more agressive and sinister troll.

What happened yesterday? Do you mean his posts in the VT thread? As I said in the thread, while I think they were ill-timed, I don't actually think his posts/feelings were really out of line. AZK's thread today shows that many feel pretty much the same was as KKF on that topic.

He was also in the NJ governor thread saying 1 down, 49 to go. I can't believe that he isn't going off on these things because he thinks they're valid, reasonable opinions. He's just trolling.

Somebody needs to decide an acceptable ratio for trollish/awesome posts for him. I haven't given this much thought, but my initial thoughts would be something like 6-1.

If he falls below that ratio, permaban.

It's more my impression of his intent than what he actually says. He just seems like he's begging for attention moreso than he's actually trying to have debate. It's that more nasty type of trolling that is smart about not crossing lines that will get you nuked.

I think he has three categories of posts:

1) Good, solid posts and threads
2) Idiotic trolls that add nothing
3) Subtler trolls that are mainly just looking for attention, but actually often lead to some decent discussions

I think both 1) and 3) are positive contributions (whether intended or not) and are the bulk of his postings rather than 2), however both of those points are obviously very subjective.

I think this post is completely out of line, not funny, and should warrant at least another couple day temp ban.
