Default Average income for a winning player?

Wasn't sure which forum to post this in, but thought this one might be best.

I was just wondering what the average 2+2 forum winning player is likely to earn in a year from online poker? I only play poker socially, but I'm just interested in what the full-timers are likely to earn.

Cheers,

John

A good player playing high stakes NL is reported to get about 5bb/100hands but it is very variable

Not in NL- there isn't a big bet. (not sure if you were refering to Mr Wooster's post?)

Usually, when referring to winrates, its measured in ptbb/100. pt=pokertracker.

When PT calculates this rate, it defines bb as big bet (2x the big blind). Limit poker was predominant when PT was developed, so a 3bb/100 winrate in nl is actually 6 big blinds/100.

Confusing enough?

In the latest updates of PT, you can choose to use the big blind instead of PTBB for no-limit. It's on the preferences tab.
