casino in cincinnati
Never posted in the forum before but i read the faq and think this question is ok. Me and a friend are going to a casino for our first time (http://www.argosycasinos.com/cincinnati/) in cincinnati. I was wondering has anybody ever played their. We live in Tennessee and that seemed like the closest to us. We also would be playing on a small br and was wondering how long 200 dollars for gambling would b enough for 1 days play @small stakes. You guys might not be able to answer the question as it seems really general.. Maybe somebody can point me somewhere to learn more about B&M casinos

Re: casino in cincinnati
There is also a casino in Louisville, Indiana and the casinos in Tunica, Mississippi besides the Argosy. You might get on yahoo maps and check the distances, maybe these would be closer than the Argosy depending on where you are at in Tenn.
$200? Sounds like you are going to spend as much on gas as you are on playing. The Argosy offers 3/6, you might be able to find 2/4 someplace. $200 is good for two buy-ins at the lowest limit games, that should last you a couple of hours. Good luck and have fun. |

Re: casino in cincinnati
I don't know where you are in Tenn., but it's hard for me to believe that the Argosy is closer than Caesar's Indiana. It's just across the river from Louisville. Don't play limit, but $200 won't last long in no limit unless you win right off the bat. I haven't been to other casinos around here, but I like Caesar's a lot, and the poker room is the biggest around here (or it was last I checked). Good luck and have fun.
Actually, I played limit once in Puerto Rico (only table they had) and $100 went far in a few hours (about five). Went down to about $70 then back up to $400. It was 5/10, I think. $200 might last a little while. |

Re: casino in cincinnati
$200 could last you anywhere from 45 minutes to the rest of your life at 3-6 limit.
There really isn't a better way to put it than that. You could blow it all immediately or you could win a couple of big pots early and never give it back. Who knows. |
