Free online RPGs?

Im looking for something to play when im tilting/dont want to play poker. I've played maplestory and a lot of the free games at gameogre.

Any good suggestions?

afaik Anarchy Online w/o expansions is free and still full of players.
there was another one and i cant freaking find it anywhere [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

you can get a free 2 week trial (i think) for ddo (dungeons and dragons online).

pretty fun game...i played for 8 or 10 months...then quit since it was burning too much of my time.

but since the trial is free (it is a big download though) why not give it a shot?

ah, free download you can get from eve-online and from world of warcraft. same stuff and you can create as many accounts as you want but start all over again.

I tried AO but the graphics were really crappy and I couldnt figure out wtf to do.

Silkroad looks okay. Is it fun?

Same q for ddo. I thought ddo had level cap of 10 or something?

DDO was a lot of fun in the beta. I didn't buy it. I have a policy of not buying games that are too fun since they would suck up too much of my time.

ddo lvl cap just went up to 14

levelling is easier and faster than any other mmorpg

the game is very fun...after you play for 6-8 months is hits a bit of a wall in terms of content; but they add new content about every 2 months.

mod 4 just hit a couple days ago; it included new outdoor areas where you can go; (a little more solo friendly) and also included 8 or 12 new dungeons; including a new raid

supposedly within the next year; monks and druids will be added as playable classes; crafting will appear; guild housing and dragon marks just to name a few.
