Re: KK Heads up
i'd check call river, allow him to bluff missed flush draw and also easier to get to a show down.
as played with your odds you probably have to call even though I rarely seeing you be ahead here, thus its actually a fold |

Re: KK Heads up
with this action vs a pretty weak player you're not going to see many river bluffs
as played you are almost certainly beat, he's not bluffing and this would be a strangely terrible way to play a worse made hand |

Re: KK Heads up
We have ~$80 left. Betting $216 and folding an overpair for the last $80 in a $800 pot is redic. c/c river looks better to me.

Yeah, you have to call now.

Re: KK Heads up
in that case the bet sizing sucks, you should never be leaving yourself 10:1 to call on the river with a marginal hand
making the bets a bit bigger to push the river is much better than checkcall imo, his calling range is almost certainly wider than his betting range. if I'm checking it would be with the intention of folding. |

Re: KK Heads up
yeah I did not mean to bet that I meant to shove, I was playing more than 1 table and taught I slid the bar all the way over...besides the point I do think check calling river would have been the best play but I just thought I was missing out on hands such as AJ or KJ if I checked and he checks behind. What I meant by weak player was he seemed to fall into the same pattern over and over he liked to take stabs at checked down pots and often called me down with a weak holding which is why I even had JQ in his range here
