Default $20 A9o post flop decision

I think I have got the odds and position to call this preflop. I flop top pair, is my raise right? And should I bet the river. Was afraid of fd, so decided to check it down.

That's tough. A9 off is a little tough to play even with position? What are you hoping to hit? If you hit an ace you'll probably only be bet into or called by a better hand. That flop was probably the best you could hope for, and you have a backdoor nut flush draw.

I think it's pretty close between a raise and a call there. The good thing is you got it checked twice which is probably a good result. Otherwise the guy might continue betting 9/10 or something that would be hard to call. But it still cost you $300 to find out he had something. You're also not representing the flush so an aggressive player could have bet out the river and it would have been really tough for you to call. Checking the river I think is definately correct.

Hopefully he had a worse 9 or underpair. I think you played it pretty well but you might want to save yourself a lot of trouble and fold a9 vs an UTG limper. I see crazy bluffs online sometimes and with a9 unless you flop really well you're in for some tough decisions.

Fold pf, then you're not in this [censored] situation on the flop.

As played, I'm not a big fan of calling the flop but I think it's better than raising TPTK in an unraised pot. Turn and river are good.

your reverse implied odds are really horrible, which is what makes this an easy PF fold

Fold preflop.

Call the flop if you want and fold to any other action unless you really improve.
