Villian 12/3/.75 I flop Nut trip and bet smaller try to let him know I was scare of the A..
Then river cards really kill here can you stop and fold??? I really though he might have AK or AQ. Never put him on QJ b/c his stat. Re: I set this good and it comeback kill me
No you cannot fold river. But please please please bet more on the flop so you can shove turn easy.

Re: I set this good and it comeback kill me
LOL @ limp-raising then thinking a small bet will look less scary on AK high flop. Bet more on flop, then you should have it in by turn.

Bad turn bet. Even more bad flop bet. $11 into a $38.50 pot? Bad bad bad.

I don't get the small flop bet. [/ QUOTE ] That's all the problem start with. I'm too greedy here. I'm worry that If I bet too much He'll fold and I do have the Trip Nut don't want to win small pot with it. beside I never put him on JQ raise and call my raise so my range look too good at the flop. Overall b/c the Trip Nut made me bet small on the flop otherwise I would have bet $25 flop there. |

Re: I set this good and it comeback kill me
If you flop a very strong hand and want to build a nice pot it's usually better to just assume villain has a good hand and go from there. (I like to be consistent with my cbets - usually 2/3-3/4 pot, in order to keep my hands from being readable.)
This villain has tight-passive stats, so he most likely isn't going to try to steal pot from you when you try to slow play. It's better to slow play against LAGy players that will bet for you and are easier to trap. |
