That\'s My Bush

I'm curious what OOT thinks of That's My Bush I basically love all the stuff Trey Parker and Matt Stone and I think this show is great also. Even thought it was canceled after 7 or 8 episodes I think it was a very good show that should have been given some more time. Normally I find most bush-bashing stuff unoriginal, and stale but I find this very funny. Anyways thoughts.

I really like it. I thought it was a really good satire of classic sitcoms, that being said I'm not sure how long it could have lasted as the show couldn't really be character driven and they would eventually run out of stereotypical sitcom episodes and political issues to mock.

It wasn't Bush bashing - they were 99% sure Gore was going to win and planned on making it about him. He would have been just as goofy. It's really just a satire on sitcoms as already pointed out. I liked it.
"Hey George, it's your favorite neighbor!" "One of these days Laura, I'm gonna [with audience] PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!"

I loved this show! Every episode had one or two classic moments, but as mentioned it would have been tough to keep it going. The ecstacy episode was probably my personal favorite followed by the wrestling episode.
I thought for a second that Comedy Central was bringing it back when I saw a promo for a show talking about Bush, but it is for some cartoon show about him. Anybody know anything about it?

I think when I watched the episode where he was talking to the "almost" aborted fetus, I could hear this knocking from the inside of my brain tell me to stand up, turn tv off, and go do something else.

[/ QUOTE ] That is the one episode I usually don't watch whenever they replay the series. I wasn't offended by the material, it just wasn't very funny. If that is the only episode you saw, I reccomend giving some of the others a chance.

She played Lady Godiva on Charmed or one of those shows, nude on a horse with her hair covering her.
