Q10 flops two-pair from BB on action flop.
How badly did I mangle this?
NL100 - 6-max - No reads Hero is BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raise $3, UTG+1 calls (is shortstack with about $20) , folded to Hero who calls. Flop ($9) 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, UTG bets $9, UTG raises $17 and is all-in, Hero raises $30. |

Sorry - Effective stacks between me and the original raiser is about $110 preflop.

Wasn't planning on calling a re-raise btw [/ QUOTE ] ? I think you should. I also don't see a huge problem with your chosen line, assuming you don't fold. Anytime you take a line where you bet or raise with the intention of folding, ask your self why you're betting or raising to begin with. If he raises again, it's basically a shove, and I think he does this with AQ,KK,AA, and sometimes a FD, in addition to AK and sets. Your line is enticing an iso-shove from a worse hand... |
