i'm guessing this was at borg 20/40 this past weekend. I was playing 20/40 at a different table thurs night and there was a ridiculous stack. I thought i saw jkamowitz (sp?) claim that it was him in a different thread. Could be wrong though.

I've seen a couple threads about this type of situation...Why not color up. In any given hand you won't have more than 4 stacks in play, it looks cool and all, but a couple stacks of green, maybe black, would be much more effecient. what if you knock it over, its everywhere.

I play out of the rack so that would be one high stack of racked up chips. I color up with purple after about 4 racks though.

Default Its a good thing

You didn't show your face.

I would rather see the pictures of the waitresses at the Borg. You can even show their faces.

Good job!

I wish I could do that, but my biggest win ever(in terms of number of chips) is 8 racks in a $3-6 game.

Stacking tons of chips is fun. And tilts the other players. Coloring up in limit games is super lame/weak. It's mostly done by people that have the mind set "oh, i'll just color up and play the chips I have left on the table thereby preserving at least some win". Of course, that happens like never.

Besides, big stacks tilt some players. Big stacks are +ev.

And playing out of a rack is just plain ghey.
