Default Safest way for US player to add money?

Sorry....I know this had to be asked millions of times, but I could not find much information. I tried a search but didn't find much.

Part #1: Being a US player what is the safest way to add chips to a poker site?

Part #2: Once said chips have been added....how do you go about getting money back?

(if you can link me to a previous post that would great...or just answer the question )

Thanks for your time....I can see myself on these forums quite a bit.

1. Credit Card
2. Paper check unless your site has a better option (like ACH on Absolute)

If you're typically dealing in (relatively) small sums (thousands, not tens of thousands), ePassporte works well. You can search around and find a number of threads on them for more info.
