Re: UTG QQ, call river bet?
I raise to t100 preflop, and t320 on the flop. I like the turn check.
Gotta fold this river IMO.. you did show weakness on the turn, but villains calling range on the flop consists of medium pocket pairs Tx hands hands containing two club You can pray he has the first one of those, but I think that will be the one very rarely. Maybe <5% of the time it's a pure float on the flop (or 56s), and a bluff on the river. That's very optimistic though. Look at villains flop bet. Bets like theese always come from bad players, and they are very often draws in my experience. It could have been 56s, but it was way more likely to be a club draw. Villain calling your raise is perfectly consistant with such a hand. Also, villain is probably too retarded to realize how bad the board is for his flush. I have seen fish value bet flushes on double paired boards a lot of times. Villains line is also consitant with a weak ten, like T7, T8, T9, or TJ and TQ. He bets the flop very carefully to "find out where he is at", and then when you tell him, he won't listen because he is a fish and has top pair. A lot of bad players play the turn exactly like villain did when they have a ten, and the river is a value bet begging for a call. Your only hope is 56s, but that would be very optimistic. |

Re: UTG QQ, call river bet?
I fold here. The only hand in his range you beat is mid pair, and I don't think he has that enough/value bets that enough for a call to be good.
