Position Question
In a ten handed game, the blinds are 1st and 2nd to act, early position is 3rd through 5th to act, middle position is 6th through 8th, and late position is 9th and 10th. I believe this is Sklansky's breakdown.
How would you designate position in relation to the blinds in a six handed game? |

[/ QUOTE ] Treat it as a ten-handed game where the first four seats have folded: first position in 6max is middle position in fullring. Not sure why you are asking, but I assume you are trying to adapt a fullring preflop chart to 6max? |

Using a chart from "Small Stakes Hold'Em," an example would be how to play KQo: Call SB, EP (3rd thru 5th seats to the left of the blinds), Raise MP (6th thru 8th seats) and raise LP (cutoff and button). You said UTG in 6max would be MP. Can you finish up the chart based on above example. Is there no EP in 6max? |

Re: Position Question
Yes, follow the chart starting from the Middle Position recommendations when playing 6max. These are training wheels though, there is much more to preflop play than these charts could cover. Remember to treat it as such.
